Employee Health Services promotes safety and protection of patients and personnel through effective assessment and surveillance of all individuals affiliated with Kell West Regional Hospital.

 

In accordance with State and Federal Laws, all privileged health information received is protected and maintained with confidentiality.

 

Some of the functions of this service are:

 

• Pre-employment assessment of health status and physical capability

• Determination of vaccination status and tuberculosis surveillance

• Administration of vaccinations required by hospital

• Evaluation and management of known or suspected transmission of communicable disease between patients and staff
